How to add a beneficiary

  • Airtime top up

    1. Open the NBC Kiganjani App on your device
    2. Login
    3. Select the'More' icon at the right bottom of your the screen
    4. Select Beneficiaries
    5. Select Add a new beneficiary  
    6. Select Buy Airtime
    7. Enter beneficiary name
    8. Select Network operator (Zantel, Vodacom, Airtel,Halotel, TTCL Prepaid,Tigo)
    9. Enter cellphone number
    10. Review beneficiary details and save recipient
    11. You receive an OTP via SMS
    12. Enter the OTP
    13. You will see a confirmation screen

  • Electricity

    1. Open the NBC Kiganjani App on your device
    2. Login
    3. Select the 'More' icon at the right Bottom of the screen
    4. Select Beneficiaries
    5. Select Add a new beneficiary                                                                                           
    6. Select Bill Payment
    7. Select Prepaid Electricity
    8. Select LUKU
    9. Enter meter number and beneficiary name
    10. Click Continue, review and save beneficiary details
    11. Enter and confirm OTP
    12. You will see a confirmation screen

  • DSTV

    1. Open the NBC Kiganjani App on your device
    2. Login
    3. Select 'More' icon at the right bottom of the screen
    4. Select Beneficiaries
    5. Select Add a new beneficiary                                                                                           
    6. Select Bill Payment
    7. Select Television Subscription
    8. Select DSTV
    9. Enter Smart Card Number and recipient name
    10. Click Continue, review and save beneficiary details
    11. Enter and confirm OTP
    12. You will see a confirmation screen

  • Fund transfer an NBC account

    1. Open the NBC Kiganjani App on your device
    2. Login
    3. Select the 'More' icon at the right bottom of the screen
    4. Select Beneficiaries 
    5. Select Add new beneficiary
    6. Select Domestic NBC Account
    7. Enter Account number and look up account holder's name
    8. Select continue
    9. Review and save beneficiary details
    10. Enter and confirm OTP
    11. You will see a confirmation screen
How to buy electricity

  • How buy electricity

    1. Open the NBC Kiganjani App on your device
    2. Login
    3. Select Pay Bill icon
    4. Select registered biller 
    5. Select account to debit from and enter amount to top up
    6. Select next
    7. Review bill and confirm payment
    8. You will see a confirmation screen
    9. Receive token via SMS
How to transfer funds

  • How to transfer funds to an NBC account

    1. Open the NBC Kiganjani App on your device
    2. Login
    3. Select 'Transfers' icon at the bottom of the screen 
    4. Select Domestic NBC Account
    5. Select account to transfer from, select account to transfer to, enter amount, enter reference and click next
    6. Confirm transfer
    7. You will see a confirmation screen
